Do I need a GP referral?

What is sacroiliac joint pain?

The sacroiliac (SI) joints sit where the spine meets the pelvis. When they become inflamed or stiff, they can cause pain in the lower back, buttocks, and hips. It is a very common cause of pelvic pain and is treatable.

Can pelvic pain be caused by my back?

Yes, problems in the lower back and sacroiliac joints often refer pain into the pelvis, hips, and buttocks. Our specialists will work out where the pain is actually coming from.
